Our rehabilitation specialist, Emily Aronow PT DPT TPS, is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy with expertise in the treatment of complex pain. Her comprehensive approach includes traditional orthopedic methods and neuroscience-based treatment of the nerves, spinal cord and brain to relieve pain at its origin.

We believe that health includes many dimensions of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Therefore we work with the Harmony’s Family team and your other providers to create a comprehensive interdisciplinary team if these aspects are needed to restore your health. Services

New Patient Initial Evaluation

A Physical Therapy evaluation begins with a comprehensive review of the client’s history, imaging, and previous treatments. The client receives a detailed physical examination that assess the nervous system, muscles, ligaments, tendons, body mechanics, and how these function together. The client receives a clear explanation of the source of his or her pain, an expectation of the length of treatment, and a plan of care that fits his or her lifestyle.

$140 (member rate $115)

Pre-surgery Prehab

Pre-surgery prehab is a personally tailored exercise program that will vastly improve recovery time and surgical outcomes for any surgery that affects the musculoskeletal or nervous system. The client also comes away with a clear understanding of realistic post-op expectations, such as pain, need for assistance, and return to activity.

$90 (member rate $75)

Follow-up Physical Therapy Session

At every visit, select markers of heath are examined to assess the client’s progress. The client receives the treatment modality most needed to progress him or her closer to wholeness. Modalities include joint mobilization, myofascial release, cognitive treatment of sensory processing, manual nerve mobilization, exercise progression, breath/posture training, instruction in ergonomics for work or sleep, and taping.

Vasyli Orthotics

Biomechanics experts and physical therapists developed a collection of custom heat moldable orthotics to treat a variety of foot and lower-limb disorders. Fitting for Vasyli Orthotics includes two appointments. The client receives a full examination of the lower body from the low back through the feet, and temporary corrective taping of the feet as an assessment tool. This information is used to create functional, comfortable orthotics to support optimal lower body motion.

$250 includes two clinic visits and one pair of orthotics. (member rate $212)

Patient Needling in Coordination with Massage or Pilates

Dry needling facilitates muscles to release old patterns and accept new input. A 15 minute dry needling session immediately prior to your Pilates appointment will enhance your ability to use a muscle that has been inactive. Dry needling prior to massage will increase the effect of letting go.

$40 (member rate $34)

Vitality Integrated Therapy is in-network for United, Anthem BCBS, Federal BCBS, and Cigna. We may be able to accept other insurance types with out-of-network benefits. If using insurance, prices for New Patient Initial Evaluation and Follow-Up Physical Therapy are set by the insurance company. About Emily Aronow, PT DPT TPS 

Emily Aronow, DPT, treats pain, injury and movement difficulties for clients with complex medical and nerve conditions. She is passionate about helping clients regain the joy of movement and health.

Emily Aronow is a Board-Certified Physical Therapist with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). She gained expertise in providing physical therapy to patients with complex medical conditions during her eight years at National Jewish Hospital in Denver. She then achieved a specialist certification in the treatment of nerve pain through the International Spine Pain Institute.

She provides a variety of treatment options, from traditional physical therapy to neural retraining. She has taught yoga for 12 years, and enjoys helping patients modify their yoga classes so they can continue yoga without flaring up old injuries. She is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling.

Emily has a passion for staying fit and healthy, especially in the outdoors. She has hiked 20 of Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks and continues to work toward completing the list. She competes in triathlons, and enjoys rock climbing, ice climbing and skiing. She is a musician and loves to garden.
